24 Nov, 2010
ok if you like Yorkshire will take some pics tomorrow and load them on...I will do them in a blog as some people may not be interested as there are a lot of them ha ha ha lol Not that I will put them all on...lol
24 Nov, 2010
the thing is Milky we can't get out in the garden in this awful weather, so by doing craft it gives people things to see on here and chat about, otherwise we might close down over the winter, and that would be sad.
25 Nov, 2010
Well, Im not into crafts much, I really dont have the patience tho I do admire people who produce such lovely cards. Lady up the road does some wonderful 1920's art deco designs. So although I cant compete on that front, Im sat here with a self satisfied smirk cos Ive done ALL my christmas shopping, AND wrapped it up and have made a start on writing the cards. But...sigh...they dont look a tithe as pretty as the cards Ive seen on here!
And yours Yorkshire is absolutely lovely...handsome son with a gorgeous smile..and without doubt, very proud parents!
25 Nov, 2010
Well done tet, you beat me to writing the cards, all the shopping done and wrapped just like you, finished the last this morning, made loads of cards so must get around to writing them out, thanks for your lovely comment on our son, he is rather gorgeous, he is one of the best martial art experts in the country and done quite a lot of T.V. work in the past, he spent a month in China filming, but he did not like it very much,
25 Nov, 2010
with an obvious sunny nature like his I bet he found them po-faced lol!
25 Nov, 2010
something like that, !!! he has an 18 month old little girl her name is Maya, and she laughs like him day and night, we have never heard her cry yet, certainly takes after her dad,
25 Nov, 2010
wonderful! My kind of baby..one of my great nephews like that...the ONLY kind of baby I like!!
25 Nov, 2010
Keep saying at this time of year, that after new year i'm going to go where you can join and learn how to make cards, but thats as far as i go.
25 Nov, 2010
clarice I am sure you will enjoy it, a lovely winter pass time.
25 Nov, 2010
I think i might like it, best bit is there's a place where they do it about 10min walk from my house.
25 Nov, 2010
Oh clarice what more could you ask for, ten minute walk thats great,
25 Nov, 2010
I know i think this time round i will go in new year, if we are not snowed in like last year, think aswell it gives a chance to meet other people.
25 Nov, 2010
I hope you do it Clarice, a bit of company and maybe a cuppa and a chat, pop in when you are passing and make enquiries,
25 Nov, 2010
Will do, like you say a cupper and a chat can do us a world of good....
25 Nov, 2010
my friends Mum is 86 and a craft teacher, she does thursday afternoons crafting at her bungalow, everyone gets tea and cakes, the eldest lady she has in her class is 94,
25 Nov, 2010

26 Nov, 2010
Got your PM my BF.
That's great that he smiles all the time....must be a lovely person.
26 Nov, 2010
his daughter of 18 months is exactly the same Alex, never seen her cry yet, always laughing.
26 Nov, 2010
Lucky lucky people. I wish we could all be like that BF.
26 Nov, 2010
Lovely photo. He definately looks happy. THey were saying on the tv last night that laughing releases endorfins in your body and helps you to fight infection. Your grandson sounds gorgeous. I must admit that I enjoy a good laugh too and try to see the best in things. Thanks for sharing with us. By the way we have had a couple on inches of snow in the night! I can see a snow sculpture coming on when I get dressed......and feeding the birds......funny how all the gardens look beautiful and all the same today.LOL
27 Nov, 2010
Thanks Lin,he's actually my son, and yes he is gorgeous, I am allowed to say that as I am his mum,,, LOl we had a slight covering of snow but its quite pleasant at the moment, I think you could be right about laughing, as I said my 18month old grandaughter is just like her dad, we have not heard her cry yet, she just laughs at evrything. good luck with the snow sculpture. have fun.
27 Nov, 2010
I love to have a laugh and Im positive it helps with your health and I reckon it helped me beat cancer! You know what they say...laughter is the best medicine!
27 Nov, 2010
After feeding the birds a wagtail has descended on the garden and is seeing all the other birds off including the robin. He's strutting up and down the cleared path as though he owns the place. LOL.
27 Nov, 2010
you can't beat a good laugh tet, I do hope you are fine now, you still watching that wagtail Lin, we made Clarices cakes for the birds and the magpies keep scaring the little birds off, horrible things,
27 Nov, 2010
Yes the wagtail comes every day and is still king of the garden. Talk about strop.....his birdblood runs with it! LOL
29 Nov, 2010
I wonder if he thinks he a small magpie Lindak lol!
29 Nov, 2010
Thats nice...
29 Nov, 2010
my son, thanks holly
29 Nov, 2010
He certainly looks like a small magpie. I reckon he's there for the winter now.
30 Nov, 2010
thanks for your lovely comments Homebird, does my son really look like a small magpie Lindak
30 Nov, 2010
No I'm perfectly sober Homebird and Yorkshire I was talking about the wagtail that has taken over our garden. Although I did lick around the bowl earlier when I had made the Christmas cake....yum and it did have some brandy in it. LOL.
1 Dec, 2010
Gosh I thought you was talking about my son, Lol
1 Dec, 2010
LOL Yorkshire.....nice to have a laugh.......The Christmas cake I made turned out o.k. and it's cooling off in the cake tin at the moment.
