Beautiful little flower, looks like you had as much rain as we did down in Kent.

It poured Gee , still I suppose we are lucky compared to some ... I often think I would like to live near a river but then when I see the devastation it leaves when there's a flood I'm not so sure !

Today is the first day for about a week that we haven't had rain. I feel I should have webbed feet :)

LOL ..Gee ... the outlook dosn't look very good for the rest of the week ! Jolly good Kathy , sometimes they are covered by leaves and can easily be missed until they rise above them .. :o))

I've had a look today Amy - what do they look like when they come out of the ground?
19 Jan, 2011
You can see the yellow cap of the flower trying to push through first Dawn and then the leaves follow , the one in this photo hasn't opened it's petals yet ... good luck .. :o))

Thanks Amy, I'll be checking for them. Is the flower head kind of bent over? Have a shoot like this?
19 Jan, 2011
Yes it is kind of like that Dawn , I'll have a look tomorrow as I have several coming and send you a photo :o))
