first Bluebell

thats very early, normally flower in May up here

mine usually come up in April.. so early this year

I have a crop of these (volunteers!) that I think arrived with the topsoil. They are only green leaves at the moment and I plan to dig them up and put them in a large container (hope I don't kill them off).

They do seem early, Holly, some greenery appearing in the woods but no flowers yet.

Holly....I've had a few warnings from GoY members to get rid/relocate the bluebells as they increase rapidly. I still haven't got them out of the soil yet....bit rainy here today so did other garden jobs instead.

And they are sprouting up in quite the numbers...a bit worrying actually!

hope you manage to move them soon... mine havnt been any trouble ove rthe last couple of years since ive had them.... my mother has a huge patch of them in her garden and there lovely when there out.... i suppose it depends on what you want in your garden... i love them..

I'm going to put the bluebells in a large pot to contain them and hope that not too many more pop up afterwards in our soil. Thanks, Holly.
