Lol, they are quite good at posing for the camera, unlike my solitary fish who was busy hiding. I was glad to see the fish, I thought i'd lost him, they are so good at hiding!

Lovely to see. I used to love spring time when I had a pond - it was lovely to hear the frogs for the time time each year when they returned to the garden. We have Marsh Frogs here in the ditches and Royal Military Canal and they are very loud :)

They never really make a sound here Gee, pity. I did hear them once in the woods near us but only for one night. There was a puddle in the woods last year teeming with frog spawn!
As for wildlife, this morning I watched a Sparrow Hawk chasing small birds through our hedge. Didn't manage a pic, too far away. It flew right into the hedge and chased them under it. He went away hungry though!

Very happy to have newts Sanbaz, I built the pond with them in mind. I know there are 3 in the pond! It's fun to go out at night with a torch and watch them. It's also the only time my lonesom goldfish shows himself!
