Katarina, Over here its called a Larch tree

I am not sure what you call them over there. I am not an expert but I assume this is the European Larch Tree (Larix decidua)

Yes, it is kind of picea species, I found it yesterday in a garden centre and it has this special red buds. Very nice. Like a song. Lady in red.

You know, six years ago we had here unusually strong wind in the mountains (speed was over 160 km per hour) so trees have fallen down like cards. The other day it looked like after an atom bomb explosion. No trees, just hollow land. Except several trees which still standed- all of them were larix decidua. Since that moment were made projects for renewal of mountain forests with this type of wood as a major sort.
