It's Doronicum -leopard's bane (I think anyway) Whenever I try to grow it the slugs have a feast lol. I've given up ! I am pleased you have such a wonderful specimen :o)

Likewise Hywel, have never been able to grow this either, it just gets eaten!!

Thanks Hywel and Grandmage.sadly,I will probably give them a miss then.Its a shame,as I really like them..but then again,I want most plants I see on here..but would need a much bigger garden..Lol.I must try and realise my limitations..:o)

I think Bloomer we have to be sensible (ha ha) what we grow now, I for one try to grow things that will last a few years, I cannot keep planting up new plants, I dont have the energy anymore, sadly!! Much as I would like, its tough plants from now on. Lol.

And me too,especially as we get older,it needs to be more low maintenance,and hardy things,I think.Especially after the last two winters.I am so lucky,as only lost a Penstemon,which was getting past its best anyway..a nice new gap to be filled..:o))

I think they are fairly strong ,I moved some around the garden successfully last year. Thanks for all your comments.

Just catching up to you...and love the Daisies, and the colour, have not long cut back my Shastas, and they are up again with a couple of flower buds showing....

Hi , Pp , these keep comming up year on year . I'll save you some seed next year .
Try and find someone who has them and get some bits of root . I've shifted bits around my garden , effectively .
