Proud Mum

Had a day in London today, supporting my two elder daughters as they took part in the London Marathon. Great fun but it was lovely to be home again :)
Hope to be back on GoY properly in a day or two - still busy in the garden but getting there!

Thank you both, they have raised over £1500 so far in memory of a couple of young friends who were lost to cancer and one other who is fighting breast cancer at the moment. She was there to support them too, bless her :)

It was the second London marathon for Twin 1 and the first for Twin 2 :)

They both look very fresh and cool after all that effort Gee. It is such a long way to run!!! I watched the start on tele then went out to the garden and continued with the work there. So many empty pots to fill after all the winter losses. Great way to raise so much money for a good cause too. I wonder what it's like the day after? Achy?

Thanks, everyone, I will pass on your congratulations to them. You're right, Dorjac, they are complaining of aching joints today but are so pleased that they both completed the course :)

Thanks, TT, will pm you shortly.

CCOngratulions to your daughters in completing the marathon. What an achievement whilst helping others too. They certainly deserve their medals twofold.
