Those are tall flowers on the Heuchera in the bottom of the pic!

Yes they are,Shirley...a gift from Cinders last year..I am looking forward to them all opening, and it looks like they will be white.I will post a pic when they do..:o)

Cinders is a generous lady with her plants ... we swapped plants at Dottydaisy's garden yesterday so I have another Heuchera for my garden now. : o ))

I agree,Shirley..I am getting hooked on them too..I am going to buy another one 'Berry Smoothie ? 'I think that's the name :o)
30 May, 2011
Yep, I have that one. Think it has white flowers, not prepared to go out and check for you though as it's too chilly out there!

Some friend YOU are..! wimpy ..Lol.

You'll have to look at other member's 'Berry Smoothie' Heucheras on here to find out . . . .

You will just have to go out and look tomorrow,Shirley..it may be warm ! Lol.
Thanks,Louise, just wish it was a bit bigger...I was fine with it,till i joined GoY..and saw all those plants I have no room for ! Lol.

I can see lots of paving there that could be taken up?...

lovely Bloomer :):):)
31 May, 2011
Yes I could,Louise, but it was done like that,to make life easier..for when we got old ! ..and we are now there...Lol.
Still got the front garden, and the long border..so will be planting pots up this week for the back...bought more plants and compost yesterday..:o)
Thanks Paul, just waiting for some more colour to show now..won't be long ! :o)

I love the big circle - I wanted something like that for the top part of our garden
31 May, 2011
It all looks so neat and tidy Sandra .. very nice !
31 May, 2011
Thanks Paul, that was our first job when we moved here..we were knee deep in clay, and builders rubble,as ours was the last one to be finished, and all their heavy equipment was parked on it.!So this was the easiest option,to dig tons of stuff out and level it the best we could, and we had to buy loads of top soil for the borders..We tried a lawn where the gravel is now,and that didn't really look good either, and the rest is history,as they say..Lol...plus I don't get soggy feet, hanging out the washing ! :o))

Thank you Amy..it doesn't take much looking after..so how come I spend so much time in it ? .Lol.I just love to potter, and weeds are not allowed..although I had a laugh when I was nurturing what I thought was a Geum, and it turned out to be a Bramble!:o)..erm,the Geum died !

I missed these yesterday Sandra, have been out a lot. Lovely garden, pleased the Heuchera is doing well.

Your garden is looking lovely Sandra, all so neat and tidy, mine was like a jungle when we got home from hols, hoping to tame it tomorrow, the forecast looks good , warmer weather on the way;0))

You little gad about,Cinders Lol...seven flower stems on the one you sent me last year ! I must be doing something right :o)Will post a pic later..
Thank you Annella..no grass to cut..so more time for other things in the garden :o)
Thanks Carole..it doesn't need much looking after, but saying that,I have been out there all day..:o)..almost finished planting up the pots, and moving stuff ! I trimmed my neighbours heathers back for her this morning, and one thing leads to another..so it was lunchtime before I knew it.Lol.Its been a lovely day,and you will enjoy being out in your garden tomorrow :o).

Absolutely Beautiful

Thank you,Yorkshire..will be better when everything opens up,especially when Fuchsia's in pots are flowering..:o).I'm a bit impatient, and keep forgetting it's still only early June..Lol.

Looking good Bloomer, plenty of room for more pots......We moved to a smaller place with small garden because of ....time moving on.... and it being managable and we are pleased that we did too.
6 Jun, 2011
thanks Lindak..will be having some more pots around soon ..I can manage this easily..and in the future too,hopefully..:o)

It's good to potter about rather than have to do a marathon garden. I usually buy a pot or two after my birthday with the money I very luckily, and thoughtful of others, receive as presents.

Like the layout Bloomer, looks relatively easy to maintain, having said that we can always find something to do.
12 Jun, 2011
Thanks Stroller, it is easy..and everything is hardy..so only a case of pruning, and a bit of tweaking, which I do a lot of..and then, there's the splitting ..and moving things..etc,etc...so I always find something to do...I find it almost impossible to just sit and look..:o)
