My kind of garden. Where did you get the picture from, I would love to find out where it is too?

Have you tried searching in Mock ruins? This might be a photo from 'The Redwood stone company' they do mock ruins but it will cost you lol

I was googling secret gardens for ideas for my own garden and came across the photo. No idea where it is there was no info on it.
I searched mock ruins as you suggested Dcr but to no avail.
I really want that garden!
Obviously cant have it in my little patch here but its good to dream eh?

Did you google the firm I mention above it looks very like one of their photos Pixi?

Maybe it isn't a mock ruin? I would like to think it was an old derelict ruin somewhere deep in the forest lol

You will be surprised what you can do in a small garden and if you want it, you can surely have it.
I am sure they are Gothic Follys from Redwood Stone, www.redwoodstone.com ,I have a leaflet from them and have seen pieces from them in a Garden Centre. They look splendid and are easy to construct. Regards.

Ah yes it looks like it could be from Gothic follys..oh well all my romanticism has been dashed lol!

what a lovely space to be in; its a gallery of pictures in one space.
doesnt have to dash your romantic ideas pixi ~ you can make up your own story ~ if you recreate any of it ~ visitors would never know!!!
i love windows, and i like gardens and pictures that suggest some other story.

Have to make the best of what space we have..not sure I can fit much more it, but then I've said that a few times and there's always room for something else..I wasnt a statue next!

Oooops! I thought of you when I saw that comment! I must be a very sectretive one - so secret that I don't know myself! But I do really like places like this - the other thing I like is some of the pre-raphaelite paintings and I think this is similar!??

Looks ok in the picture, wouldn't like it in my garden...I had a neighbour who did something similar to her front garden when we lived on the I.O.W. and people started referring to where I lived with the quip, oh you live next to the cemetary'...

Have you tried looking on GAP photos or GARDENPIX they have plenty of garden pictures, you may find it in here. Its is beautiful where ever it may be.

Yes there should! Use your real bothy ruin! This apparantly a mock ruin,,but I just adore it!

The prob with the real bothy is that it is in a field full of sheep! They eat ANYTHING!

They have a small version, in fact a piece of this at my local Gc. I always drool over it when I go there.

I guess it wouldnt be too hard to recreate a similar thing. Unfortunately I dont have room for it..i dont think..hmmm maybe I do? lol I'm sure i could squeeze a wee bit into the garden somewhere lol

I can see it in the corner by my garage but would need a Russian vine to cover the garage roof! Lol......We can dream can't we ;o))

cover the garage roof with turf and wild flowers and jsut have a little Russian ivy growing round the edges? Go on do it! ;)

No I'm not B I am an artist..but painter..I am trying to make a sculpture for the garden tho..not easy with all the rain we are having..and I dont really have the proper materials..still who knows it may work! :)

Well I made the cast of Rick in Mod Roc..then used post concrete mix ( as it dries quick) to line the cast...so as not to have it to heavy to move..filled the inside with expanding foam..but it all had to be done seperately..so had it use thick wire or coat hangers at the joints lol..I know you must be thinking wth? Its not finished yet..been too much rain..but hopefully it will get done one day..and be ok..will prolly have to use some type of waether proofing to finish it off..have to recast head as I dropped the back bit! Bah..its a lot of work..would rather have got proper materials and done it right tho..anyway ..watch this space! :)
