It does need a lot of space. The first lot of flowers are huge you can just fit them in your outstretched hand. There are 3 to 4 buds on a truss which makes it heavy and a bit lax, but when the sun shines on it, it glows gloriously. Heavy rain is a problem for opening buds and half opened flowers. A very light perfume. I've only smelled it on the odd dry warm morning. Saying all that, I wouldnt be without it.

Lovely rose! I have a similar one, very heavy when open but truely lovely.
