Dinner!

Looks like they made a good job of cooking it for you at the pub. What wine would you recommend to accompany it though?

Hello Frybo. I was very surprised they cooked it for me, what with health and safety!
I had water that night as I was the driver. It's a strong taste, am not sure to be honest!

It's the giant puffball mushroom all sliced and cooked!

O! I would love to try it Lulu, the OH and I went on a group mushroom hunt once with an expert in fungi. We all ended back at the pub after the walk and the pub landlord cooked us some of the edible fungi but Puffball wasn't one of them!

Keep an eye out Teds, you never know, you might just find one soon!

It's a stonger taste, much more flavour than most.

It looks very tasty Lulu . we have a pub in the area that will swap your surplus organic veg for a pint , come to think of it I wondered where my veg. was going ! maybe it wasn't the rabbits after all ...LOL...

Only if full of wild mushrooms!! I am surprised they cooked it for me though!
