Dawn Lol... I've been having lessons from BJS about Cyclamens he's an expert ..
C.Hederifolium flowers from Sept - Nov. flowers before the leaves .......
C.purpurascens flowers July - Sept... Leaves before the flowers ...
C. repandum flowers in April-May . the flowers and leaves almost at the same time .. :o)

There you BJS how am I doing so far ? :o))

If I'm doing it correctly Dawn it should be C. hederifolium because the flowers are there before the leaves it's confusing , the leaves you can see are not the cyclamen they belong to a wild strwberry plant..... Bjs wil probably tell me off and say i've got it wrong :o(

These are SO pretty Amy - and you've taken a lovely pic. They're great "en masse" aren't they? and I've been rehearsing "hederifolium" in my head, since last week's GWorld, when Monty said that these are the autumn flowering ones . . . brilliant idea as that's just when you need some colour (well, this gardener does, anyway!). Thanks for the useful info.

What a lovely patch of Cyclamen, I have the annual ones but not these, did you plant them from corms or while they were in flower?
