46 C in the sun around 4:00 in the afternoon.

We've had high 30's for the last two days...having to get everything done before 9 morning, else its too hot, just dripping continuously....

The weeds are going to have to wait....I can only water every other day and that's it for the garden until the weather cools down a little.

Phew, Alex! Why is it that only the weeds like any kind of weather!!!

We are all feeling the effect of the heat....head aches, bad moods, exhaustion...you name it, we're feeling it.

This is what we have to put up with so we can have those mild winters. A lot of people choose the cooler months for their holiday here. I'm kind of trying to hide from the sun....my daughter called me a vampire today.

ha ha, these young ones they will learn, keep out of the hot sun. It is not good for you. lol.

I know the feeling...I looked up the temps in your city...it's the typical type of temps we get here in inland San Diego during this time of year. However, it's been cooler than normal the last couple of weeks (only between 80ºF/26ºC and 88ºF/31ºC for the high temps) I'm enjoying these temps very much! With this being said...the strong hot, humid monsoonal flow is suppose to return in a day or so - yuck!

I must admit,,,,today and yesterday around 2:00 I felt that I couldn't breath!!! That is a baaad feeling. I'm going into the city tomorrow....let's see how that goes. I think this year the heat waves are lasting longer than normal...

I hate that kind of heat! I bet you just wanted to run into an air conditioned room and stay there, right? We had some really hot and humid weather in July and the beginning of August. However, it's been pretty nice here. Although, the weather people have been talking about the heatwave we're suppose to be in...it doesn't feel excessively hot, though. It was 90ºF/32ºC. yesterday (here where I live) and today is suppose to be a little warmer...some areas further inland have been up to 98ºF/37ºC. It could be a lot warmer.

Downtown San Diego was only 75ºF/24ºC (which is below normal) yesterday. I can always go to downtown to escape the heat. We love those micro-climates here in California! :>)
