I was chatting to Pimpernel the other day and idly wondered whether he thought that if I offered certain select GoYs a few days' stay up here in Emilia Romagna in return for a small suitcase full of plants there'd be any takers. He thought yes, so maybe I should start thinking about it seriously............

Do you like it, Sarah? Unfortunately, since I took this photo, on the place where I was standing they've built a couple of extremely expensive, ugly, modern houses. Spoils the view back up the valley! We are very fortunate, though to live in such a nice place.
