Pretty berries, do the birds eat these?

Amazing colour I always think when I see Callicarpa.
Would love to find some glass this colour!

I haven't seen the birds eating them Carole but then they are out of sight of my windows so it is possible , that would be an amazing colour for glass Lulu the sun shining through it would be spectacular ..Thanks Holly :o)

I love these,Amy..often thought of buying one,but I need to read up about it first..it might get too big for my garden...

It is a shame Crissue , Sandra they are not so big, mine is approx 4 ft tall but you can keep them trimmed to suit your garden .........

Beautiful shrub Amy. Meadowland posted a photo of one of these just a few days ago. Must be one of the stars of the autumn. I'm running out of places to put things, otherwise I'd be off down the GC straightaway!

I know what you mean Poppy I bought 2 small plants the other day and I'm still walking round wondering where to put them .!

Lovely Amy, I've been looking at them too but wondered if the berries were as stunning as they look in books/
websites, but you've proved they are.

I would Dawn it's such a lovely colour mine are several years old one of them isn't doing so well because when it was planted there was plenty of room for it but over the years a Liquid Amber tree has grown over it the branches are smothering and keeping daylight out ,I'm considering trying to dig it up to move it , It depends how deep rooted it is .....
