:-)
you will have to get a very big handbag if you are thinking of 'borrowing' her from this garden!!!

She would look very nice in my cottage garden.Have you found my paintings yet Stickie?

Alladin Lamp, lol
Lovely garden, very good picture:) I love garden statues too - maybe will put them in a blog during long winter evenings, lol...

yes, that would be something to look forward to kasy! there were other statues in this garden but most of them were too 'chunky' for my liking. I may do a blog on the garden and include the other two features that i liked there.
23 Oct, 2011
yes, please - do the blog:) I only visited one garden this year - working in the retail is horible - every other weekend at work, no time to go and see places... my son just come back from holidays and noticed I didn't take a lot of pics, as I usually did...
I have one favourite feature - from my college gardens. Have to dig up the pics as well.

it isnt as beautiful as john massey's garden or as pleasing to the eye as the arboretum was but in a couple of days i should be able to put it on ~ got son & daughter in law coming to stay in a few minutes!!

Ashamed to say that I've never been here either........
I'm pretty sure though that this statue is something to do with C S Lewis.

That's certainly a thought meanie, but there was a Hindu type quote around the base, sorry can't remember what it all said.

Love the simplistic lines of the sculpture.
24 Oct, 2011
Perhaps it was the lines I liked too, linda, she was elegant and innocent.
24 Oct, 2011
She certainly has some sort of candle or lamp. Might be Divali.

Lovely statue! To think we drove past these gardens on our way to Norfolk. A visit for next year methinks!
27 Oct, 2011
Oh, and dont underestimate the size of Yorkie's handbag!!!
27 Oct, 2011
5 or 6 foot tall???
27 Oct, 2011
A mere clutchbag!!
27 Oct, 2011
i hope she has big muscles then!!!
27 Oct, 2011
I refrain to comment on that on the grounds it might get me beaten up!
27 Oct, 2011
she would never dream of such a thing!
