Thanks Sticki, Im going through a memory lane theme at the moment, its strange as I have a friend who still lives there and when I visited there had been so many changes not for the better, someone with loads of money bought the last cottage on the lane , it had two fields where sheep and donkeys were kept, well the new people have extended the cottage and landscaped the fields, looks like a theme park now much too over done and its lost its natural charm and beauty;0(

oh no! landscaped a field???? you cant improve on nature, surely???

what a shame, your pictures would sell like hot cakes in that village ~ everyone would want to see it like that.

Lovely, PP, a real tonic to see as we have just had two days of heavy rain and wind! After such a long and dry summer I am feeling decidedly chilly :)

lol carole, baz keeps telling me to slow down with painting, wondering where they will all go and being canvas`s and some quite large doesnt give me much room hahah, going to start doing some on paper and just mount them so i can store them easierly :o))

That is scary, I dont like driving on motorways at all! it was around that time when we were caught out luckly we were in a store just coming out, so we were able to shelter, about 10 minitues in all. Our son simon is driving upto the lakes tonight for a long weekend, it sounds as though they have had it really bad, just hope he changes his mind and leaves until morning...
