mini forest?

this was frustrating as the light was too low to get the picture I wanted, I hope you can see it well enough, I dont know the name of the moss

I rather think what looks like water drops is in fact partly frozen, it would have made a lovely picture if i could have got that close up.

The focus always suffers in low light, it's very frustrating as the pic looks perfectly bright. I have no doubt you'll ace this subject at the next opportunity :)

Great photo Sticki , my lawn is full of moss again this year ..I'm not happy with it , we took barrow loads off it last year :o(

oh i have a lawn full of moss there really isnt much grass at all. if i took it out there would be a large area of soil!!!

Ours would be as well Sticki , we had a scarifyer on it last year I thought it had done the trick ,at least it is green !

another good one..Did you take it on saturday...? The light was very poor quality here then. It looks a lot fresher than you said.

thanks pimpernel it was sunday, saturday was a lovely day ~ i wish i had found it then! sunday was dull and being moss it is of course in a shady place, just wish i had got a clearer shot of what appear to be ice bubbles

thanks SL, when i was younger i had a few of those 'observer' books ~ im sure i had one on mosses and lichens, i should look it up!!!
it could have been another raindrop type picture ~ oh well another challenge!!!
