Bought today in a nice frost resistant pot

Great buy, conifer prices (well all plants really) are going up ferociously now.

One good thing about Hungary is that the plant prices are lower than UK. My eyes water at the prices when I visit UK garden centres. On the other hand you have a lot more choice and the plants always look in better condition.

Is this pot freeze proof or really just to frost point? I really like its shape and of course the Spruce. Small needles.

It was sold as a pot that will survive our climate. It was sitting outside when we bought it and we had had -20 C at night. The plant was frozen into the pot which was the main reason why me generous hubby bought the pot as well. So I guess that answers your question Wells.

It's great to have a truly frost proof pot , I have bought several pots that have claimed to be which have not stood up to the test we have found the ones that are coloured on the outside stand the frost better .a nice spruce to :o)

What else?
See who else is growing Picea omorika (Serbian spruce).
See who else has plants in genus Picea.
This photo is of "Picea Omorika Karel (Serbian spruce)" in Chrispook's garden
