This is the first keiki that I ever potted up and it is blooming for the first time!

I'm chuffed with it Alex!
It had a couple of flower spikes that blasted last year, but made up for it this time around with six!
It's still only in a 6cm pot, so I'll have to pot it on in the spring.

It's a question of getting the cool growing bit right HB.
The new house has an ideal summer spot for my orchids.

Lovely Meanie, someone just offered me a keiki of these on a swapshop had 3 different colours to choose from, never having grown them before and not sure what to do with it when I received it,(I didn't want to kill it) so rejected the offer, maybe should have accepted and sent it to you :-)) here's the link to them

I will take a keiki of the mother plant of this one for you after I move if you want? Ready for the post towards the end of summer.

You are too kind Meanie, thankyou :-)), you'd have to give me some advice on care though the only ones I've ever grown are the fairly easy phalaenopsis, have one thats been in flower none stop for months now.
28 Feb, 2012
Care is easy - it likes to be cooler and grows well outdoors in the summer.
28 Feb, 2012
I can do that :-)))
