Suet Birds!

Wow! are they wild birds? absolutely beautiful.

Never seen so many birds crammed on feeders.Lovely pic - what type of bird?

Oh what a great Pic....I love these little beauties...they actually sing as they swoop-de-swoop fly!..lol. I have thistles that I have let grow just for these birds... otherwise I'd have them ripped out...the birds take the seeds so I don't have to weed.

I love the goldfinches too... they can take over a feeder wicked fast...I had to stop feeding over the summer. I was going though the feed so fast. I will start feeding again in November.

How true CJ! My daughter and son-in-law have had to cut back it was getting crazy how much they were buying! It's hard though they love the wildlife so much but thats a lot of pets to feed lol!

For sure Gloria...I thought it would be best too because of the fact that they need to eat on their own as well...things are still seeded out well right now for them...a friend is supposed to be getting a recipe that his friend makes with chicken scratch for making suet at home...that would be fun to do for the winter...I am thinking of feeding the squirrels this winter too...
