Very good, it really does look like it. Dare I say it - looks better.

I liked her! But it was only on the photo that I noticed, I didn't see it so clearly when I was there!

What is the angel really? I mean, what kind of tree/shrub/whatever?

Sadly it's often much cheaper to buy a new item than to try to get the old one repaired - micro-techy components aren't made to be accessible or replaceable - even if one could find a local craftsperson able to undertake the repair.

We live in a throwaway society - but I suppose that's the price of hi-tech, or at least that's what companies want us to do, cos they make more from selling new than repairing old - way back, if a car headlight failed, one bought a new bulb for a couple of quid: now one has to buy a complete new fitting cos it's a sealed unit. Crazy waste of money and material.

but you had eyes to see, Sticki - maybe you happened on it from the right angle, with the sun also at the right angle to catch it - but how many others didn't even look, or if they did, didn't notice??
