Both looking lovely Sandra, my Peiris is at the same stage as yours, arent they lovely with the red shoots and the blossom, and your Camelia is beautiful, I told you about mine losing most of its buds, well inspected today and there are a few looking as though they will flower , Im well pleased ;0)

thankyou also,Ojib..it wasn't really planned,it just happened ! mainly because I put ericaceous compost in that bed..although there are roses and other plants as well..they don't seem to mind,and all do well :o)

just horrible,and I have an appointment in town this morning..might cancel,as it's not essential..really don't fancy trailing out in this :o(

thanks Shirley,strangely enough,only a few were damaged on the Camellia..but they were round the back of it anyway,so I don't see those..and the Pieris..both of them,seem unaffected ! lucky me :o)

Hope you're still lucky, Bloomer?? Our Pieris got the frost a few days ago, but usually it recovers, and the bracts come out again . . .

I am,Sheilabub,thank you....it's looking better than ever after the rain and the sunshine..it is quite sheltered by a wall,so fingers crossed,,as it's given minus temps tonight :o(
