Thats looking good Grandmage ,I hope you have loads of pears, we had a new tree last year and only had a couple of pears we are hoping for more this year ........

Amy I have just purchased a fleece (£1.shop) today because they say we are going to have snow/frost!!! Going to cover the tree tonight, as its only little.

Thats a good idea Grandmage , ours is a little to big for that , we have put fleece up to cover the front of the peach frame also over everything in the greenhouse ...

Mad seasons we are having arent we? Mind you I remember bad weather in June last year we had to put the heating on!

Lovely pic Gran, and good luck with the blossom . . . hope the fleece isn't needed! (We put some over our Amelanchier the other evening, and saved it, but the frost "got" the Pieris - however it will probably try again, lol.)

Its maddening this time of year isnt it Sheila and yes we did need the fleece, so hope it has worked.
