It's lovely Karen.
(P.S. it's still snowing here - really hope it misses you.)

I like the delicate pink of the buds.

Thanks everyone. This is my newest tree. In the autumn it will have quite large pink crab apples...hopefully...if the snow and gale hasn't totally destroyed the blossom beyond all hope....:((((

Hailstones south of Bristol and Bath. Lying in the pots of plants. Pray it does not turn to snow.

Scotsgran...I pray that it won't.
Annie, you know these little climbing euonymus are amazing aren't they. Six years they have been in. Six years and they've done absolutely nothing noteworthy until last year and now this year they are really taking off. It was exactly the same in my old garden, which is why I planted them as soon as I arrived here. I knew they wouldn't budge for years! Once they get going they are worth their weight in gold...so pretty for covering fences!

I love them and have lots of pots filled with cuttings now. Great fence cover and they light up the shadiest corners. I saw the one on the wall in Wilby today on my way home, it was still glowing in the rain. I pass my old garden everyday and it's lovely to see things I planted so long ago still thriving.

Looks so pretty against the Euonymus, grow lots here too, some of it is over 6 ft....

Gosh, I don't think I would like to pass my old garden every day. I only just stopped dreaming about it...in fact I still have the occasional dream that I am back there!
Once it gets going it is absolutely superb (the euonymus I mean). Thank you!

Maybe that's why I still do Karen, but it's the shortest route and the most picturesque....other choice being the busy A45 Lol

Sigh...I wonder if my crabapple in the old garden is blooming yet! Great pic, Karen. Your spring is progressing better than ours...
