Is this "after"? It looks like a plit at the top, or is that just standard patterning?

There are little cakes/biscuits here called "Brutti ma Buoni" (ugly but good) which should suit these fellas very well.

As a new and fully paid up member of Butterfly Conservation I can assure you all that he was alive and well when I left him. No squishing going on here G.

One of the most incredible things that ever happens in the natural world. This one is an Elephant Hawk moth.

Where did you find him?

He was hidind behind one of my pots, found him while moving them about, it was so blooming cold though. There was another Chrysalis in a large pot just under the soil..I think the one hanging on the wall is inactive. keeping an eye on it though :))

They are Large...But the "Elephant" part is because the Catapillar looks like an Elephant's trunk.
