It takes time doesn't it to get the mature look, it will be beautiful when you have finished planting up, patience girl patience. Love the white rocks very pretty.

Hi everyone and thankyou...We did some more this morning, and OH built the rock end more, and we widened the edge on the right side and did some more planting...Grasses etc, and a decent Saxifrage I moved...
The Bergenia Gattina is "Abenglut" It's our first, and I had it planted elsewhere until the Pond was set...then moved it, and it likes it...There are two fish in the Pond, if you look good you can just make out their outline...We have two of the same sex, so don't want anymore, I think they think they're in the Sea...ha ha..bless...We want a nice Water Lily for the nearest end...
Then just wait for everything to grow, the Border on the left is new, done last Autumn and planted up with lots of perennials, so we're looking forward to all that area coming good...

Paul the Rock is Tuffeau it's what our old house and walls were built of, and we brought loads with us when we moved here...

Now patience, as you say B....:o)))

Now how do you know they are both the same sex!

That's beautiful. Can't wait to see how it matures and a water lily will be gorgeous.
Yeh, I'm with Lulu. How do you know they are the same sex? I was once to this about two rabbits :))))

Hi everyone...weekend again, nice, but going round quick...

I can't say for sure that they are definitely the same sex...Just by the fact that Goldfish breed after several months of age , and these two are two years old...I think we're probably safe...

You can tell with Rabbits etc, it's much the same as....
Ask Kat she's good with Rabbits so she would know...

Hi Scottish, I'm looking forward to a water lily, haven't decided on colour, it's what catches my eye on the day...

Thanks Lin and Hb...OH has now finished building the rock end, and we've added rock plants too, widened the little border edge, and started adding plants to that side also...really looking forward to the new Perennial Border on the left coming together this season....should compliment the Pond and Garden...
