My Forest Bell bush has been blooming for the last 3 weeks or so. This is one of my favorite blooming shrubs. Photo taken April 29, 2012.

How did I miss this! The foliage on yours seems quite sparse compared to mine.

Yes, the leaves should be much more dense and lush. This plant has a lot of competition from the big Jacaranda tree and Megaskepasma right next to it. It also doesn't get enough water (and no fertilizer), which it needs and loves. I've been wanting to take it out of this spot for the last 5 years. lol! It's been in this spot for about 8 or 9 years. It should be much taller and wider.

Yes, they have tons of roots when grown in pots. This is why I haven't moved my plant yet...I'm afraid it's going to be a big job digging all the roots out of the ground.
