Thank you Karen! :)) x DD.....why did you take out your pond? Don't you have a pond at all any more? I might have to talk you in to one! :)))))) Thank you Richard and Linda.. I seem to have a knack for unintended 'puns' which is a bit embarrassing!

I agree with the girls it looks like it has always been there. I can imagine you popping out to look at it from different angles ;O))

It looks really good - so glad you have your pond at last. I would miss mine, had frogs/toads not quite sure which yesterday they were playing piggyback in the pond, think maybe they were two toads and one frog. They were enjoying the water whatever they were. I can only tell when they are out of the pond and can see them properly. I do know the difference but the plants were obscuring them just a tad.

Yes, not always easy is it.

Karen we took it out because it looked rubbish, never managed to get it right, it sloped horribly, awful design, so we now have a whiskey barrel which looks fine, much better than I thought it would...when I have my design hat on, I shall come up with something, (poor OH,) I want to take the decking away, next big adventure!! watch this space lol

Oooooh.....eeeeeer! Big works being planned then! :)) I think it is very hard to get a pond anything like natural looking. They seem easier to do when they are really formal...rectangular etc... but I don't like that much I must admit, and it wouldn't work well in our style of garden would it?

Next is a stream running around the garden eh Karen...!!

lol...Crissue....in my dreams! :))

Pond is looking very pretty, Karen.
You worked hard on this area ...
.. yes, Sue ... stream next... Lol. ;o)

I was thinking more along the lines of a 'sky garden' like Dermot at Chelsea last year.....I need more planting space, and imagine the fun I could have peering down on my neighbours! :)))
8 May, 2012
Lol. Maybe warmer temperatures up there too ..
heat rises and all that ..
you could grow tropicals ...;o)
8 May, 2012
lol.....lol.....don't encourage me...I might try it! :))
