I ate razor muscles (or were they oysters) a couple of nights ago, a bit chewy and cold.....would have preferred them hot with garlic butter! Ah razor clams, that's what they were! And chips!

I don't fancy chewy! Chips ok though!

i havent heard much about ollie [oyster] recently linda but last i heard the snails were doing well!!

watched the farming programme today and the fresh water oyster is apparently in deep decline.

they have lots in our GC, maybe i better get another for stevie then they might breed, lulu can have some too!!!

I think they need fresh running water so was thinking of getting a pump so it can filter food better

And need lots of mud!

the GC oysters are now sitting on something raised so you can see them easily from the surface but i expect thats for buying purposes??

There was until I vacuumed it all up as it was full of fish poo. So no oysters for me!
Would like some more snails though. Will wait and see what happens to my last 2 fish, if they die, will go fetch some mud from the river and hope the newts return!
