I enjoyed those pics so much WR...can you please let me know when you are next going on holiday, as the sun always seems to shine on you! :D Even in the Lake District! :D I've always fancied the Isles of Scilly as well...maybe one day. It looks stunning. No wonder so many painters live there!

I have never ever known weather like that in the Lakes, it was a great surprise!

We are usually lucky in the Scillies though which is a good thing because you really do need to see the islands under blue skies! We go again in September so get planning your holiday NOW!!

btw, ladies, what is the ferry crossing like because I am the world's worst sailor and that is why I am afraid to go for it myself!!

You can fly.......the ferry crossing is awful lol

We have some photos taken on our honeymoon but they are mostly in black and white, must hunt them out ......lol

You can fly from Lands End Airport on 'Skybus' or from other airports including Bristol and Exeter.
Helicopter goes there too from Newquay next year and from Penzance at the moment!

There you are Karen you would love the gardens at Tresco, and the hotel, thats if it is still a hotel?

I think I will give the helicopter a miss, but thanks Wildrose! I could fly to Bristol from Edinburgh, and then from Bristol to the Islands then....a plan is starting to form!
