I had to cut the Choisya quite hard back this year,as it caught the frost..not looking as good as other years, but recovering slowly..

My Sundance gets frosted every year Sandra, its flowering now, but needs a trim really. Yours is looking lovely.

Thanks Cinders..it was twice the width it is now..but it's diffcult knowing where to prune..so I had to keep chopping away, till the shape looked half decent.Lol...I would make a very bad hairdresser ! :o)

Lol,Carole..I had to keep standing in front of it to see what it looked like.in the end I just thought 'it will have to do '!

It's the companion that all the other plants want to be seen with ;))

I agree,Karen..a good background plant..love it in winter, even if it gets frosted..it would have been better if I hadn't pruned it at the wrong time..when most of the buds were on ! ..so impetuous..:o(

Ah, it'll come back, Bloomer... :)
...I might post a picture of one of my box boules...now, that really was a bad haircut day...I have to keep it in a corner now, to hide the damage... :(

I'm sure it will ,Karen..I have trimmed it before, but not as hard..and can see new growth appearing ...I have never had any luck with Box..always went brown..but then again they were in pots, and watering was somewhat neglected...or feeding..so not surprised really..go on,post a pic ...:o)
