Thank you, TT. Yes, these Hydrangeas are enigmatic plants. Rkwright just wrote on GoY in these days how he had to add something to this very same Hydrangea, in order its flowers turned pinky. I did not add anything, my flowers are pinky, but leaves show iron/mangan deficiency.
One never knows with these flowers....

Hi Kat...
would be interesting to see if adding a soil supplement results in improvement to the leaves and a change of flower colour !

Hi, TT, this week I watered it with special fertiliser for Hydrangeas and will repeat it in two weeks again. However, I think this is the problem of special sorts of Hydrangeas. As I said, I have another bush close to this, a different sort, and that one has dark green leaves. We will see.:)))

Which hydrangea is that? It looks like it may have iron deficiency but any fertilizer for acid loving plants would help the leaf color. I add Aluminum Sulfate to turn my flowers blue, if I leave them alone they stay pink. They are beautiful either way though :)

It is H. Preziosa. I normaly fertlise Hydrangeas twice in a seson, but in this case it was of no help. Recently I added special fertiliser with iron. Will see.

I have a 'Blue Bird' hydrangea I started from a cutting last summer with the same problem with leaf color. I've tried a few fertilizers and still hasn't improved much. I bet the fertilizer with iron will help yours though.
