i dont know the clematis names very well SL, but it is a nice colour, it was about an inch tall in the spring!! it now has 2 more buds but i see those wretched slugs have been nibbling again!!

Ha. Some of my Lily buds have been chewed, just hope it dose'nt stop them flowering.

most of mine are like that but most are coming out!

just been to an open garden at a 200 year old farmhouse, next to the wonderful oak door was a tiny little plaque with the name 'Beauty of Worcester' another was 'Hagley Hybrid', the clems are no longer there but they hope to replace them, they were glad to hear that Beauty of Worcester does indeed exist!!

Thats what I need on my front wall, a series of plaques, ''golden arch' 'japanese pond garden'

And Stevie the Terrible woz/iz 'ere!??

I think a plaque 'whatyamadoffers?' would discribe Stevie's place best, lol.

Have to agree with Hywel, I do like dogs included in pics as well. TerraToonie and Lu are 2 perfect examples :)
