Its suppose to float on top of pond, i'm going to try tying some string on to it and fasten it to a stone or something then it stays in one place, well when it stops raining i will, i'm sure it as to stop feed going to to bottom of pond, if you get one let me know if you come up with a better way to use it ?

I found this on line ...
Prevent food waste being pulled into the filter with this Fish Feeding Ring! Free-floating, it rests on the surface of the water and you simply drop the food inside the ring. Your fish will not take long to learn that this is their new dining area and you will reduce waste and maintain water quality.
It also allows you to provide different food choices, which is especially good if you have picky eaters. Perhaps you have a fish that hogs all of the food; in which case, why not buy two? Once one ring is filled with food the greedy fish will dash straight to it, leaving the other ring free for your remaining fish to feed in peace from.
Using multiple rings allow your fish to choose where, and with whom, to feed. Manufactured from durable polyethylene for maximum durability, this fish feeding ring features 3 separate compartments ensuring that the food is contained and not scattered all over your tank. Dimensions: 23.5cm diameter x 1.5cm deep.

It's a very interesting idea, Carol.
Please give us updates on how you get on with this, and photos of the feeding ring in place in the pond.
