How fabulous, Yorkshire. I could see they were an unusual pattern, but hadn't realised they were horseshoes - that's brilliant! Is he a blacksmith - how useful if he is!!!
18 Jul, 2012
my son is actually a martial arts expert, one of the best in the u.k. he has done filming and a series for sky, he has lots of schools he owns to teach, his dad is a blacksmith that is how my son was taught, my ex husband I should add, he does not do it anymore just martial arts, but if there was anything in the blacksmith line we wanted he would make it,

I have 2 as well Val. Josh who's 22 this year, reading Russian and economics at Sheffield. And Will who's 19, reading journalism also at Sheffield.Handy to have them both in the same place, although last year Josh was in Russia. Jxx
19 Jul, 2012
you have two very clever lads there Jane, you must be proud of them, my daughter is 46 my son 44 my elderst grandughter 27 grandson 20 grandson 17 and a grandaughter 3, did Josh like it in Russia. my son went to China for a month with Sky T.V. he was glad to be home,he goes to Canada, Ameica, Texas all with Martial Arts,

Gosh he gets about a bit doesn't he. Yes Josh did like it. It got his Russian fluent, which is why he went. For the first 6 months he lived in Pietrosavodsk (up near the Arctic Circle) and stayed with a Russian family. For the 2nd 6 months, he was in St Petersberg. I would have loved to visit him there, particularly as my brother works out there from time to time. It would have been nice for us all to meet up. BUT time and money, mostly the latter. I live in a lovely place, but there is a price to pay...............! He's back now, lol, I say back, he's in Dresden as I type and then he's off to Prague and then he'll be back to Sheffield. Is it my cooking I wonder??lol. I see more of his brother, who always turns up when he wants feeding or needs money. Big lols Jxx
Oh, just added Pita as a friend. Nice to keep it in the family :-) x
