One of my favourite roses, it seems to be doing much better this year after I cut back foliage and Lysmachia which was keeping the light from it, so we are both much happier now;0)

These look better than mine Carole, the rain is making them brown before they are properly open.

Thanks Janey ,that is something to look forward to, hope mine continues through to Autumn [ waiting for the Snow Maiden you sent me to open,] its been a struggle with the slugs but it now has buds on it even though the leaves are a bit tatty;0)

Thanks Phyliss my first ones were spoilt too just soggy and brown, I cut them off and it seems to have worked as these are lovely;0)

Thanks Dawn I have had mine around four years it is now around four and and a half feet, doesnt seem to grow very much but is flowering well this year;0)
Thanks Jane, shame the sheep ate yours, wouldnt have thoughtit would be good for their digestion with the thorns!

Lovely Iceberg rose, Carole.
My Iceberg is a climber .. about 3 metres up in the air now, and I photographed it on Boxing Day last year... still flowering profusely. Wonderful rose ...

That is a beauty Carole , I was only saying today how much better all the plants and shrubs etc look this year ,I know we didn't want the rain but i'm sure the plant life has been lapping it up making up for the drought last year no doubt !

I agree Amy the lavertera and Cosmos I grew from seed are huge this year the cosmos is flowering already and the lavertera's full of buds, something to look forward too;0)

One of my old favourites Carole, and it flowers all through the autumn too, beautiful. I've been cutting back herbs and perennials this afternoon, never seen them so tall before, the lemon balm was at least a metre high!
