Cheers,and it cost nothing as the carnations we got free and the others which i have found out are candytufts i found the seeds in a brown bag in shed and just through them on the ground and i think they both really work well, so going to get a pkt of candytuft seeds for next summer and do same as i think they really blend in well together.

the carnations will come back carol, mine do not sure about candytuft though.

Yes the carnations come back every year, but cant see them candytuft coming back again :))

I've had candytuft in the garden for years Clarice, they come back every year but gradually get smaller and weaker and I end up buying a new packet
