how many plants have you got in there stevie? i always seem to lose some that i have in pots ~ have all of yours survived??

really quite impressive

25 Jul, 2012

well most of them will get shoved into the polycave to over winter : )

25 Jul, 2012

pots are really good arent they ~ you dont have to worry if you have planted them in the right place, you put them inside when its too cold

the only downside is the watering???

25 Jul, 2012

running out of space? how about roof garden?

25 Jul, 2012

well not this year ; ) so far

25 Jul, 2012

roof garden would be very good, im sure the queen would visit that!!!

25 Jul, 2012

maybe if it was a bit flatter, anyone got any old solar panels they dont want?

25 Jul, 2012

Got plenty of moss if that would do instead!

26 Jul, 2012

WoW, yes the roof might have to be some kind of plan! Not sure what your landlady would think!!

2 Aug, 2012

it'd be perfect for solar but the outlay would be too much at the mo or maybe just put a camp bed up there

2 Aug, 2012

I always saw solar panels fixed to the roof under certain angle, not flat. You do not need flat roof, Stevie :))

2 Aug, 2012

no Kat, the roof is S/Sw facing so perfect to capture the sun and at sort of the right angle anyway : )

2 Aug, 2012

how about a hot tub on the roof Stevie? the perfect aspect I'd say, lol. you could always build a flat deck on it - using palets of course;-)

2 Aug, 2012

now that is a great idea kasy!!!

2 Aug, 2012

oh well now you've really ruined the surprise, well i guess i might as well tell you now about the roof pallet helicopter landing base : /

2 Aug, 2012

oh of course ~ and james bond delivers the queen on to your roof!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2 Aug, 2012

oh, sorry Stevie - you forgot to tell me to keep it a secret....

2 Aug, 2012

well surely it couldnt have been a secret forever ~ you would have told us when the VIPs were arriving ~ wouldnt you ~ so we could all get tickets??

2 Aug, 2012

Isn't it a pity that solar panels are so expensive. I hear Germany, who have been made to put them on every roof of every new built house has made more then enough electricity to run the whole of their national grid!

3 Aug, 2012

Lulu really!! dont be so ridiculous pls. This is Britain! we dont do 'genuine' sustainability, gosh if we did that how could the government extort billions of over taxation out of us whilst pretending with nonsensical fake eco-tokenism. Just wouldn't be cricket ol bean.

3 Aug, 2012

Sticki, Lulu, in medieval times it was not nothing exceptional to have an arrow in the eye once upon a time :)

4 Aug, 2012

im sure thats true katarina, its just that this one had a crown on his head too!!!

6 Aug, 2012

William the Conqueror? :)) But he was crowned on Christmas 1066, not killed. So what is the name of your ancestor with arrow?

6 Aug, 2012

King Harold Godwin ~ William's army shot him!!!!

6 Aug, 2012

actually i do not have any evidence whatsoever to prove he is my ancestor but it is the same name!!

6 Aug, 2012

God win (s).:)) Nice name.

6 Aug, 2012

there are a lot of variations of the name, i think there are a lot families whose name is Goodwin

6 Aug, 2012

Sticki, do you know Godwin´s Law?
"Godwin's law (also known as Godwin's Rule of Nazi Analogies or Godwin's Law of Nazi Analogies[1][2]) is an observation made by Mike Godwin in 1990[2] that has become an Internet adage. It states: "As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches 1."[2][3] In other words, Godwin observed that, given enough time, in any online discussion—regardless of topic or scope—someone inevitably makes a comparison to Hitler and the Nazis."
Lol.

6 Aug, 2012

oh my!!!! no i have never heard of that!!!! i dont think i know that Godwin!!!! [i dont know all of them!!]

6 Aug, 2012
