Fantastic M, you must tell me your secret I've only had 4 flowers on one of mine and none on the other mabe a bit more potash feed will help.

It's not in a huge pot (20cm dia and depth), but I did keep it ticking over in the conservatory (lowest temps about 5°c) during the winter. The thinking was to allow as large a cluster of tubers to form as possible. Then in the spring when the new shoots started to emerge I cut last years growth off. I've just counted about 30 shoots, with thirteen of them looking fat enough at the tops to develop blooms.
It stands in 10/15mm of water and the greenhouse is misted twice a day. Fed once a week with good old Phostrogen.

I am not surprised it's your new favourite thing.
I had a surprise this morning. I had been watching the growth of some large leaves (now mostly eaten away.) I saw it was a yellow thistle, it's amazing!

Thanks for the notes M, the main difference in our methods is that yours in standing in water so I think I'll give that a try :o)

Not swimming in water, but enough to provide constant humidity around the plant and to maintain moisture in the pot.
Also............it does not get the "worst" of the midday/afternoon sun either.

Damn it, it was out of focus...............
