Ha..ha it didn't with me......its only a slender plant, hasn't really thickened up at all, but these flowers will be coming till the frosts do.....

Yes, I love honeysuckle for their late display. I did add an evergreen one this year so hopefully next year it will give me some late colour. My big yellow 'Susan' is going great guns!

It's unusual isn't it Scottish, almost Mediterranean looking....

Yes Janey - very mediterranean looking. I had 3 huge honeysuckles covering the fence in my side garden. Dug out 2 and gave them away and the other was cut right back to the ground as I needed to mend the trellis.
It's going ok this year but only has around 6 flowers.
