PPA reminds me of teaching ~ thats the time out of class a teacher gets ~ planning, preparation and assessment!

When I was doing TEFL, often the preparation would consist of 'hey Stevie class 12, heres the book, catch' and the amount of time from there to the door whilst flicking through the appropriate chapter!

most likely the best way!!!!

I found if I planned too much, it would go out the window anyway after 15mins, so always did a basic plan/map on a sheet of paper and used my head from then on ; )

I meant 'brain' not actually writing on my head ; )

the way i liked teaching best [with 5 year olds] was to read a story and then see what develops out of discussion with them ~ you could go to maths, english, geography, science, drama, art and craft ~ all sorts! great!

I seem to remember a man who had the number of his favorite takeaway tattooed in reverse on his head, so when he looked at the mirror by the phone he always had the number!
