Lovely Aster such a pretty colour and flower shape ;0)

These are so lovely at the moment. Ive been looking at some in gardens that Ive visited recently. I liked blue star for its lovely shape and King George for the size of the flowers and clear blue colour. This one looks good. Does it behave well Fitz? (By that I mean mildew and general shape)

I don't know yet, I'm afraid - I found it at a Plant Fair recently. A 'google'search says it's a good one,though.
My top Aster has to be A. x frikartii 'Monch' for its incredibly long flowering period - and no mildew! :-)

Yes Ive heard Monch has good reviews. Youll have to keep us informed on this new one and if it does well for you - hope so.

Yes, I will. :-)

Another pretty blue.......

I can't track any more down at the moment, but I'll keep my eyes open. I'd like some in the new border (when it's ready!)

I will be waiting.....

I'm afraid it will be a while yet. Mark had to go off to another customer this week, and if the forecast is right, he won't get much done here next week. :-(
Rain washes the mortar out, so a wet day is a no-no for wall building.

No not ideal weather for building, not good weather for anything really!! fed up with it now.
12 Oct, 2012
Me too - it's looking good today, but guess what's forecast for next week!
14 Oct, 2012
Oh no, lovely day today.... cold but sunny.
14 Oct, 2012
It has dawned - and it's grey wall-to wall, and drizzling too. :-(
15 Oct, 2012
Hope it is not going to rain all winter......
21 Oct, 2012
The forecast says it'll turn cold at the w/end. Brrrr.....
22 Oct, 2012
As long as it is dry and cold, that I could cope with.
25 Oct, 2012
Yes, it's cold and damp that kills off things - and I suffer, too!
