Thank you Gudia :O)
Thank you Rose, I love these butterflies. :O)
The Peacock butterflies are lacking in my garden, only seen a couple this year Pansy, but I have seen a little orange one (first time I have seen it) it is very small and it will not sit still for me to identify it. lol. :O)
Thank you Moti, I love them, this one was good enough to sit still for me. lol. :O)

We have had to wait a long time this year to see butterflies, but it has been worth the wait for sights like this.

Hope we get some, we didn't see many last year.

Shirlwhirl - I planted up my garden for birds and butterflies and bees and insects but last year we saw very few butterflies, we did however see lots of bees of various kinds. Strange how it goes around in circles, although I do not think there will be many butterflies this next summer as they must have been washed off the plants in the caterpillar stage. Rained most of the year around here, the garden benefitted from all the rain, things produced flowers that have never done so before. Like my Garylla Eliptica it has catkins on it for the first time since I put it into the ground. (think that is how you spell it) lol. and my winter Jasmine has flowered this year. We are heavy clay soil and it bakes hard in summer, obviously I do not drag out the hosepipe enough. lol. ah well.

Soon as we need it they make a hose pipe ban anyway!!!! Can't win sometimes!!

I know we were on a ban last spring and after they put it in place it never stopped pouring down with rain. lol. I can remember it was the same in 1975/76 they banned hosepipes and Prince Charles did a rain dance and it never stopped raining for months after that. The River Trent burst its banks in the late winter/early spring. I have been keeping a close eye on it since all the rain this last few months. It has not gone over this time, but it got awfully close to it. Not that it affects us here as we are on top of a hill but it stops you getting in and out of the town without a lot of detouring around it. After looking at what others have had in Yorkshire and surrounding areas we have been extremely lucky. Hope you are managing to keep dry. We have lots of snow here again today, very pretty, but not very good for walking in. lol.
