I love the colour of these and they seem to light up the border, must try the shorter variety as this tends to flop over so much.

Hi Rose, they are beautiful, think these are doing well because of the wet weather, they have flowered and flowered for me.
Pansy, this is the third attempt at growing them for me, I just had to keep on trying - Karensue has a shorter variety which I am going to try and get too as I think it may be a better plant for this border, it is a little bit too tall for my liking in here.
Thanks Moti glad you like it. :O)

I have been really pleased with my 'Lollipop' mum. It grows to about 2-3 feet and is covered with flowers. If it survives the winter I shall get more next year and repeat them through the garden.

thanks for reminding me what it was called must get that one, it sounds as if it would be better suited for my borders than this one, it is so very very tall. :O)

Yes, on looking at them just now, I would say taller than 2'...up to a metre (sorry, mixing my measurements!).

ok that's good then, because these ones I have are very tall, so a metre would be good.

I think I got mine as plugs from Hayloft mail order. They were very good strong plants when they arrived and all of them grew well.

Karen I bought some last week, they are in pots still, do you think I ought to leave them where they are until spring or should I plant them up now?
Thank you Gudia :O)

Plant em up now Mum and give them time to get their roots down before the winter, then they will be lovely next year! If you leave them in pots there's a chance the roots might freeze in the bad weather.

I love these and have a long row of them on the flower border on the allotment. They have done so well this year inspite of the lack of summer.
