Seeds - just soak them a little to hydrate them and sow (in spring here). You can probably do it anytime you want there.

Sponges - pick when ready (usually when they turn yellow), peel off skin, let dry in the sun. Give them a good rinse and enjoy.

It is that easy. The first year I didn't even soak the seeds, just sowed them and voila.

A lot of people are starting to grow their own food...
My hubby always has a nice size summer veggie garden. I'm thinking about adding more types of veggies this year.
