Hi Karen ..
That's a pretty fern :o)

It really caught my eye...pity I didn't read the ticket. I'm not sure how it is going to cope with the freeze. Time will tell!

I have an evergreen fern in a pot outside...
I must go out and check its name ... and see if it needs winter protection ... !

I love ferns and am still toying with the idea of planting the mirror corner with them so evergreen would be good.

lovely Karen !!

Thanks everyone! Annie, if it's not an evergreen fern it's not much use to me. I do have one of those painted japanese ones, but that's the only one that isn't evergreen. There are a good selection of evergreen ferns available.

I have ferns outside my back door Karen

Straw in an upturned wire basket may help Karen - I used it on a fern last year that needed similar protection. Although I have to admit that I've let it be this year - what survives survives if you know what I mean!!

Yes, I agree Scottish, I'm not one for fussing over plants. Mind you, I hate seeing the leaves turning black on my fatsias and Fatshedera...as they are right now! :(

A lot of the ones my mum gave me lose their leaves but I think one she divided this year may be everegreen, fingers xd (No name as usual!). My Fatsias look a mess again now :o)

Mine too....very very hard frost again this morning...even the greenhouse was frozen. :(

An evergreen one, that's great Karen! My shield fern is just dying down for the winter, there's a huge gap now till next spring....:((

The good thing about the herbaceous ones is the new growth is so much prettier without the old leaves to spoil it. :)

Missed this, my evergreen ferns are holding up well, must look out for this one too.
