Excellent. Would like to have one like this. It has beautiful colour and shape of the flowers.

It has a lovely color and it is a popular climber here in Mexico.
We can not grow it on Vancouver Island
and I do not think you can grow it where you live Katarina, sorry :-(

We grow here olive trees and figs, Klahanie :))

We grow olive trees and fig trees on the Island as well.
But I cannot grow this plant. Can you buy it in the garden centers? We have milder winters, but you have warmer summers.

I was just wondering if you can get it in gadren centers where you live. Sometimes people can grow it indoors. Something like passion flowers.
It is a fast grower around here (Mexico) 6 ft per year. That is why it is so popular for covering the brick walls.
But I do not think that it would grow so fast up north in the pots.

It's one of my favorites, besides T. mysorensis. It's a very widely grown vine here in San Diego. It grows so super fast and huge is one of its downfalls or benefits (depending on where it's planted).

I had T. alata 'Blushing Susan' which took over the side of my house. I had to take it out...now, I have hundreds of seedlings popping up everywhere.
