He now has a very tall white hat on,as we had lots of snow during the night..at least 20 cms..or 8" roughly ..( not good with metric ) Lol..

Hi Sandra Its the same here complete wipe out, just when we planned to get out of the house for hour, Harry has been out with some of the neighbours clearing the snow in the close and I have just filled all the feeders and put fresh water out , time for a cuppa now;0)

Russell and a neighbour are out shovelling as well..but at least it's not icy..We have just had a phone call from the lady who bought our last house,to tell us the Dentist is closed,and would Russ make another appointment !! We only moved 11 years ago,and they have our phone number here,plus email address :o) I don' think she was very pleased :o)
Alison and Anthony are home as well,and Nursery is closed..but she is going to try and get in after lunch..all the build up of traffic is now clear,so she should be ok..
They all managed to walk down to the Doctors early this morning...Thomas has a gruff voice,and GP thinks he has croup..given him antibiotics as he thinks it will go on to his chest..he hates it,and spit it out ! Lol...he sounded like Tommy Bruce this morning ! didn't like his sledge at the weekend either :o) .Happy days ...

Thanks Gralew..he was fine this morning,and his Nursery opened,so that solved a few problems..and he was raring to go..up one minute,down the next,aren't they ? Lol.and the little devil decided he liked his medicine after all,and asked for more! I wondered about a naming comp for the Owl.but I am going to let Thomas choose one..hope it's not Peppa Pig ..ha ha...

Thomas first - I am glad that he is a lot better. Croup is nasty but as you mentioned earlier children are so off colour one day and so much improved the next.

The owl is a beauty and I bet he looks so cute with a covering of snow on him! What a lovely present - they know what you like!!

Thanks Chris..we are collecting him from Nursery today,as he has gone instead of Monday.when they were closed,and his mum is making some hours up at work..don't know why,when she hardly ever gets off on time anyway ! but it is expected of them .grrr makes me angry...glad you like my Owl..he is keeping some Viola's in pots company by the front door,and looking much healthier ! Lol

He is standing up to this weather ok,I'm glad to say..still looks wide eyed and legless ! Lol...and you will find Ellora can change her mind a lot before long too..contrary little things..we are having the same problem with some meals..things he always liked,now he says he doesn't ! we tend to ignore it,on the whole..just a phase I hope,and an age thing I think...when he sees he won't win,he usually eats it,if not,he does without....that sounds awful,but you know what I mean..he doesn't exactly look as though he is starving ! Lol.
