Yes, the only time we ever see them is when the fields are frozen! Had a few in garden at beginning of this week! lovely looking birds!

Oh, I love these, Julia! We usually get 7 come every year at a certain time. They always seem to stay together, but for some reason , this year, only 3 turned up. They are such pretty birds, aren't they!

They are lovely aren't they? I've never seen them in our garden, but have seen them recently in my sister-in-law's garden in rural Suffolk! :o)
